As long as you are willing to invest and work on your investment to grow, you can always make money online.

Online business could be very profitable if you put your heart in it. There are many areas to choose from ranging from freelance writing, designing, selling commodities and network marketing. Selling commodities online and network marketing are one of the easier ways of earning online, as these two don’t really need specific skills and talents. Anybody who can read, type and post messages can sell products on the Internet. You don’t even need to have your own website if you want to sell your wares through popular auctions sites. These auction sites would simply give you a space to post your commodities for sale and they take a portion of the sale as commissions. Many people have earned considerable income in this kind of home base business. In fact, many people would consider this as one of the top home base businesses online.

Aside from directly selling commodities to customers online, multi-level marketing is a thriving online business. Hundreds of people have grown rich because of this system that they swear, multi-level marketing is one of the top home base businesses around. Why do some people succeed in multi-level marketing while others don’t? Like any other businesses on the planet, not all people who tried it would succeed. Just because you are engaged in a top home base business does not ensure that you will get rich because of it. The determining factor of your success still lies on the amount of time and effort you put in it. Take the example of having a website, just because you put up a very nice professional looking website doesn’t mean a lot of people would visit your site and buy your goods and services. The Wave of the Future

Copyright: Earl Williams
The NetMarketer

If you are a home based business opportunity seeker, congratulations. You may not know it, but you are an innovator, and you are helping redefine how the world conducts its business. With the rapid expansion of the Internet, sooner or later you will find the financial rewards that you are looking for.

In any societal revolution, it is the people who try to do things better who come out on top. When the Agricultural Revolution happened, the men who understood farming and husbandry gained the most. When the Industrial Revolution came about, it was the men who harnessed the power of machinery who became the wealthiest. And today, in the Information Revolution, it is those who can understand and harness the power of the worldwide web that will dictate the future.

As a home based opportunity seeker, you are one of the elite group of people who have awakened to the potential of this new medium. Whether you know it or not, each day that you surf the internet, looking for new things and better things, you are contributing to the advancement of internet business, a process that started so very recently, yet has advanced faster than what we could have ever imagined.

In today’s world, everything is fair game. If you have something to offer the world, it doesn’t really matter who you are and where you came from: you have an opportunity. More and more, the global marketplace does not look into an individual’s skin or his religious leanings. Today, it is more about what you can provide. Again, you must understand that you have something to offer, and it is your job to let the world know that you are in business.

The particulars of the product you offer will have little bearing in your success. It is the quality of that product, and the way you market it, that will determine whether or not you get the financial rewards you seek. Whether you are a lawyer, an accountant, a salesman, or a plumber, you must learn to take advantage of the opportunity that has opened up for literally millions of people around the world. In this day and age, opportunities are everywhere. Be on constant lookout, and you cannot fail to spot the many chances that come your way with each passing day.

Remember: It is all about quality! If the goods and services you offer will solve someone else’s problem that person will be more eager to buy than you are to sell. As a home based business opportunity seeker, make it your business to “solve” the problems of other people. Provide for what they need, and they will be glad to provide for what you need.

What Is The Best Rated Home Based Business?

Copyright: Earl Williams
The NetMarketer

Interestingly enough, the answer is not a “what” so much as a “how.” In other words, any home based business will be considered the best rated by a certain segment of users – usually the ones who have figured out how to turn a profit – while others will give the same business opportunity a cold thumbs down. The reason for this rating is not the fact that the business itself is not sustainable, cannot be marketed, or has too high of a start up cost, but instead usually an individual or group of individuals have not been able to make it work for them.

For this reason it is important to be highly selective when choosing a home business opportunity. The business must be something you like, enjoy doing, and can stand behind. For example, if you decide to sell blue-green algae, you need to honestly and truly believe in the product, its benefits, and versatility, while also being familiar with its production, origin, and future applications. If you cannot get excited about blue-green algae, then you should not try to sell it, since the only thing folks will see is your credibility – or lack thereof – not the great product that sells itself.

Incidentally, you can see this scenario played out time and again on a car lot where some salespeople will rake in the sales left and right while others seem to perpetually get the “just looking” crowd. It is not so much the luck of the draw as the ability of the salesperson to exude confidence, knowledge, and excitement about the product at hand. Whom would want to buy a car from – the person who is pleasant but vague about the ones on the lot, who needs to consult the sales literature to give you the benefits of a given make and model, and who needs to incessantly check in with her or his manager for deals, or the one who can engage you with their own excitement about the benefits of the car, the way it accelerates, the wonderful paint options, the silence of the road when you are nestled inside the seats, and the incredibly low price?

The same is true for any product that you see online. Whether it is blue-green algae, vitamins, credit cards, vacations, or credit counseling – you need to know your product inside an out, stand behind it, love it, know its benefits, and engage your audience.

For this reason it is somewhat futile to look for the best rated home based business, since that which will work for others may not work for you. What good would the rating do, if blue-green algae are simply not something that interests you? It does not matter how many people have made money from it, if it is not your passion, the odds are against you. So instead of ratings, look for business opportunities that interest you, which speak to you, which you can see yourself pursuing not only now but also in the long run!

Promoting With Search Engines

Copyright: Earl Williams
The NetMarketer

Have you ever had a friend call you and say, “Hey, I Google myself today and actually found me!” Cool, you think. You go to your computer and try to Google your friend as well. Nothing comes up. You tell her. “Oh, well, you have to click “next” at the bottom of the page. Keep clicking that until you’re on like, the forth-seventh page—do you see me yet?” Of course, just keep clicking “next,” why didn’t you think of that?

You didn’t think of it for the same reasons millions of other people searching the Internet don’t think of it. They’re either in too much of a hurry to pay attention to anything after the first results page, or they’ve come to believe that anything after the first results page isn’t as interesting or helpful.

Getting your website and business on search engines is a good way to help promote yourself, but getting to the top of the search engines is where you want to be. After all, people aren’t going to keep clicking until they find your site on the forty-seventh page. People don’t even know they’re looking for your site. It’s your job to put it out there so it’s easy for them to find, and one way you can do this is by getting to the top of the search engines.

Before you submit your website to a search engine you want to first make sure your site is rich in content and that you are avoiding all Spam and html tricks. Then, once you’re listed, keep these points in mind:

1.The higher your number of inbound links, the better.

2.Pay loving attention to each page of your site.

3.Keeping keywords at the top of your page is the best place; matching search phrases is more effective than matching single words.

4.Elaborate graphics are not helpful.

Once you’ve been successful in getting to the top of the search engines, you must keep working to keep yourself there. It is crucial to monitor your status on a regular basis, and pick up the step if you position on search engine result pages starts to slip.

Do You Have A Blog?

Copyright: Earl Williams
The NetMarketer

They’re popping up everywhere. Your favorite website has one. Your favorite television show has one. Even your teenager has one. Blogs. What are they? Why are they everywhere you look?

Most simply put, blogs are like journals—only, instead of being made of the paper and cardboard kept secret by an even thinner piece of cardboard and a lock your baby brother frequently opened with a paperclip, these journals are online. Why does it seem like everyone has one? Well, because almost everyone does. And there’s good reason. Blogs can be used as journals, both private and public; they can be used as ways for fans to discuss the latest episode of their favorite sitcom; or, they can be used by major companies, especially those that are Internet-based, because unlike the traditional forms of advertising, blogs bring in more traffic.

For business purposes, there are many ways companies use blogs. For example, a company may have several blogs on its website, each one dedicated to something different: customer concerns, product updates, etc. In addition to being helpful to customers and other website visitors, these blogs bring in more traffic to the website, as well. Depending on the website, more traffic usually means more money. And more money means—that’s right—you’re on your way to that summer home in the Hampton!

So, how exactly do blogs bring in more traffic? Well, Adsense ads with Google are a good starting point. The search engine visits your page more each time your update, ultimately moving your blog higher and higher on the SERPs (Search Engine Results Page) and leading to more revenue from the ads being represented in your blog.

Some pointers? First, the blogger will need to decide what he or she is going to write about. Choose a popular topic, one that people are interested in. “Underwater Basket Weaving” probably wouldn’t be a very wise choice, as not many people seem to be interested in it. Unless, of course, you’re business is underwater basket weaving, in which case you should by all means write about it. Next, focus on some keywords—these are the words that search engines are going to pick up on. Don’t dowse your blog in these words, but use them whenever you effectively can. Lastly, make sure you write content that will attract, and keep, a strong readership. You want your readers to keep coming back, right?

Go ahead; join the millions of people and businesses alike. Get yourself a blog. Or corner your boss and suggest writing one for your company. Explain how blogs bring in more traffic, more traffic means more money, and more money means—that’s right again! —You’re on your way to the Hampton.
